Who We Are

Senior Consultant and Managing Director Marc Holt is originally from Queensland, Australia. He has owned and managed three companies during the 30 years he has lived in Thailand. His first company provided business English services to local and international companies. His other companies provided IT and Business Consulting services. Marc sold his last company, Holt WorldWide Co Ltd (Holtww.com, Holtsoftware.com, Holt-Realty.com, MLSAsiaPacific.com), to Sunseeker Energy Ltd (Sunseekerenergy.com).

He has applied successfully for two Board of Investment (BOI) promotions for one of his companies, Holt WorldWide Co Ltd, which included an 8-year business tax holiday, membership in the Software Park Project, guaranteed visa and work permit for foreign employees, duty free import/export privileges, and the right to buy and own 100% land to site the company offices and factory.

Throughout his many years in business, Mr Holt has successfully promoted and advertised his businesses, using innovative techniques. He is not afraid to think 'out of the box'. He has built a respected reputation for reliability and getting the job done.

Mr. Holt is well known and respected in the Thailand business community. He has wide-ranging contacts at all levels of the government and private sectors. In addition, he has written many articles for various business and leisure publications and newspapers over the years.

He has worked in the computer industry for more than 30 years as programmer, systems analyst, and technical team manager. He has helped numerous businesses achieve their goals by providing his knowledge and expertise wherever it is needed. Some examples include a systems analysis for one of the largest Thai-Japanese construction companies to set up a costing system that included high resolution architectural plan scanners, a database component-costing software to record and calculate costs, a reporting system that allowed the customer to find out the cost of the project at any stage, and much more. The cost savings to the company were enormous, but more importantly it allowed the company to give customers instant costings on demand.

Mr Holt has also analyzed and written the software for an artificial flower manufacturer that allowed them to manage all export documentation. The system was linked to their accounting and inventory systems, and included a powerful database to record all transactions. The system is still in use today, more than 12 years after it was first implemented.

In all, Mr Holt has lived more than half his life in Asia, traveling to many countries. He knows the region and its people. He is married with two daughters.
